Cancelation and Refund Policies

1. Cancellation Policy for CAB

1.1 You may cancel your booking with us any time before the schedule date and time of your pick-up only by calling us on our 24x7 Customer Care helpline number +91 75 79 75 5432. If you cancel when the driver and/or car details provided you will be charged a cancellation fee.

1.2 No cancellation fee shall be payable unless SafarBuzz confirms the cancellation of your ride in accordance with the terms of use and Cancellation and refund policy.

1.3 Cancellation fees :

1.3.1 A booking request can be cancelled free of charge where driver or car details are not provided.

1.3.2 If a booking request is cancelled for any reason whatsoever when the driver and/or car details provided, you'll be charged a cancellation fee as forfeiture of the complete advance amount paid by you for the booking.

1.3.3 Drivers are also able to cancel a ride request if they've waited 45 minutes at the pickup location and/or for any reason whatsoever you have provided wrong details of pickup location or you are not reachable at phone, mobile number and email address you have provided. You may be charged either a cancellation fee as forfeiture of the complete advance amount paid by you for the booking or Rs. 3.5 per minute for hatchback / Sedan car, Rs. 4 per minute for SUV / Innova car, Rs. 10 per minute for Tempo traveller, after 45 minutes completed at the sole discretion of the SafarBuzz.

1.3.4 In case, cancellation is due to external factors which human being by the exercise of reasonable diligence cannot avoid such as epidemic, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, fire, strikes, lockouts or other industrial disturbances; war, terrorist acts, riot, or other civil disturbance; epidemics; or other similar forces or due to force majeure which lead to the roads closed, voucher for the complete advance amount paid by you for the booking, in SafarBuzz's sole discretion shall be issued without expiry to use in future.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 As per the cancellation and refund policy, the refund will be processed. It may take 7 to 10 business days for the refund to reflect into your account. In case wrong or incorrect banking details/ account details provided by you, SafarBuzz shall not be responsible for any loss and/or damages whatsoever.

2.2 You shall be entitled for the vouchers without expiry to use in future in SafarBuzz's sole discretion in the following cases:

2.2.1 Where the allocated driver cancels the ride without assigning any valid and reasonable reason at the last hour and the SafarBuzz fails to arrange another ride in a reasonable time you shall be entitled for the voucher for the complete advance amount paid by you for the booking.

2.2.2 Where the car breaks down during the trip and the SafarBuzz or driver does not rectify it within reasonable time, you shall be provided the voucher for the complete advance amount paid by you;

2.2.4 Where you want to change car type or want to increase/decrease trip duration or need some correction in itinerary, you shall inform SafarBuzz well in advance and after confirmation by SafarBuzz, you shall be provided the voucher for the complete advance amount paid by you in SafarBuzz's sole discretion.

2.3 SafarBuzz shall not be responsible to refund and/or to provide voucher in any case where you give any money or goods to the Driver except as mentioned in the invoice. SafarBuzz shall not be liable to pay any damages, if any, arises from any loss accrued to you.

2.4 SafarBuzz shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage held ended during the ride on account of the driver who is a third party agency. However, SafarBuzz shall assist you in all the reasonable manner to recover your loss or damage.

2.5 SafarBuzz reserves the right to withhold the complete advance amount paid by you for the booking on account of any misbehave or misconduct viz. physically, orally or mentally with the driver. SafarBuzz also reserves the right jointly and/or severally with the driver to take any action against you as available as per the law licable at the time of the incident.

Cancellation and refund Policy for Tour Packages

At SafarBuzz, we understand that travel plans can change. However, our tour packages are booked well in advance with confirmed arrangements, and cancellations may result in financial loss. Therefore, cancellation charges will apply based on the timing and nature of the cancellation. All rights to amend or cancel any tour package are reserved by SafarBuzz. We may modify or cancel a tour without assigning a specific reason. In such cases, guests will be offered alternative tour dates or packages. If the alternatives are not acceptable, or if the guest prefers not to opt for a customized holiday (FIT), they will be eligible for a refund.

Refunds in such cases will be processed within 45 working days from the date of cancellation and will be issued via cheque or NEFT or RTGS only. Please note that SafarBuzz will not be liable for any compensation, damages, or consequential losses incurred due to such cancellations.

Cancellation by Guest

If a guest chooses to cancel their tour for any reason, they must submit a written cancellation request to SafarBuzz within the specified time frame. The cancellation request must include the original booking receipt and may be supported by insurance documentation if applicable. Cancellation charges will be calculated on the Net Tour Price (exclusive of GST) and will vary depending on the number of days remaining before departure:

Time Before Departure Cancellation Charges

60 days or more — NIL

30 to 59 days — 40% of tour cost

Time Before Departure Cancellation Charges

15 to 29 days — 65% of tour cost

0 to 14 days — 100% of tour cost

No Show — 100% of tour cost

Note: Charges apply to the Net Tour Price and exclude GST. For domestic tours, air ticket cancellations are charged separately.

If a cancellation by one or more guests results in a change to room occupancy (e.g., from double to single), the remaining guests will bear the cost difference for the new room type.

Cancellation charges for transport (air, rail, etc.) will follow the rules of the respective service providers. Air tickets booked under special fares are typically non-refundable, and the guest will bear the full cancellation cost.

Refunds will be processed only after SafarBuzz receives the refund from the concerned authorities. A standard processing fee will be deducted before issuing the refund.

For Customized Holidays, cancellation charges will vary based on the specific services booked and will be communicated at the time of booking.

📞 How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, you must notify us during working hours on a working day via one of the following methods:

  • By emailing your travel advisor and following up with a written request to our registered office.
  • You may cancel your booking by calling us on our 24x7 Customer Care helpline number +91 75 79 75 5432.
  • By submitting a written cancellation request directly at our registered office.

If your cancellation reason is covered under your travel insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim the cancellation charges from your insurer.

Deemed Cancellation

Your booking will be considered cancelled—even without a formal cancellation notice—under the following circumstances:

  • Failure to make full payment by the due date.
  • Failure to submit required documents within the specified time.
  • Non-compliance with visa or travel requirements resulting in denial of travel.
  • Absence at the scheduled departure point without prior notice.
  • Any other instance where your actions or inactions prevent participation in the tour.

In such cases, standard cancellation charges will apply as per the policy.

We may modify these terms or any additional terms that apply to a Service to, for example, reflect changes to the law or changes to our Services. You should look at the terms regularly. We'll post notice of modifications to these terms on this page. We'll post notice of modified additional terms in the applicable Service. Changes will not apply retrospectively and will become effective the day after they are posted. However, changes addressing new functions for a Service or changes made for legal reasons will be effective immediately. If you do not agree to the modified terms for Service, you should discontinue your use of our Service.

If there is any inconsistency between these terms and any of the additional terms, the additional terms will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

These terms govern the relationship between SafarBuzz and you. They do not create any third party beneficiary rights.

If you do not comply with these terms and we do not take action immediately, this doesn't mean that we are giving up any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future).

If it turns out that a particular term is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms.

The laws of India will apply to any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Services. All claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the Services will be referred to an arbitrator appointed by SafarBuzz, failing him to any other arbitrator chosen by Gozo and you in writing. The decision of such an arbitrator shall be binding on both parties.
